Welcome! I’m Jing Wan, a Guzheng instructor with over 20 years of playing and teaching experience.

My journey with the Guzheng began at age five. Over the years, I had the privilege of studying under two of China’s most distinguished Guzheng masters and educators: Professor Li Meng of the Central Conservatory of Music and Professor Wang Zhongshan of the China Conservatory of Music.

I began performing at a young age, which built a strong foundation for my artistic career. In 2001, I entered Tsinghua University—China’s top academic institution—to study Engineering. During my time there, I served as a key soloist for the university’s Chinese Orchestra. Together, we performed extensively across the country and earned multiple provincial and national awards, notably receiving widespread acclaim for my performance of the Guzheng concerto Spring to Xiangjiang.

Throughout my two decades of teaching in both China and the United States, I have worked with students of all ages—from toddlers and youth to adults—in both private and group settings. My teaching philosophy balances strong foundational technique with a deep emotional and cultural connection to the music. Whether your goal is to prepare for formal grading exams or simply play for personal enjoyment, I tailor every lesson to your unique pace, ergonomic comfort, and musical aspirations.

您好！我是万晶，一位拥有 20 多年演奏和教学经验的古筝老师。

我的古筝之旅始于 5 岁。多年来，我有幸师从中国两位杰出的古筝大师与教育家：中央音乐学院的李萌教授，以及中国音乐学院的王中山教授。 

我从小登台演出，这为我的艺术生涯打下了坚实的基础。2001 年，我考入中国顶尖学府清华大学攻读工程学。在校期间，我担任清华民乐团的骨干独奏演员。我们曾多次在校内外演出，并在省部级及全国性比赛中屡获殊荣；其中，我独奏的古筝协奏曲《春到湘江》广受好评。

在中美两国执教的 20 年间，我的学生涵盖了各个年龄段——从儿童到成年人，并同时提供一对一和小组课程。我的教学理念是将扎实的基本功训练与对音乐的情感及文化理解融为一体。无论您的目标是备考专业考级，还是纯粹出于个人兴趣，我都会根据您的学习节奏、身体状况以及音乐目标为您量身定制每一堂课。
